Sunday the 16th of August

My day in bullet points…

  • Woke up to a message from my best friend (who interrupted my amazing dream!)
  • Grabbed the clothes I was going to wear for the day
  • Skipped breakfast
  • Washed my hair
  • Dried my hair
  • Did my make-up
  • Got dressed finally
  • Hobbled around the living room until said friend arrived
  • Travelled for an hour and a half to Bridlington
  • Gorged myself on every type of food I could find at the seaside…including a hot pork sandwich!
  • Walked around in the sunshine
  • Bought some rock for the family
  • Travelled back home after taking a wrong turn and ending to hull
  • Attempted to fix my car a bit
  • Then had a lazy evening watching PLL and eating everything in sight

🙂 pretty standard overall.

5 Places I want to visit!

This is not an easy list to make, as I would like to travel everywhere in world. However as this is a list for five so I shall generalise to some extent…

  1. Europe – It’s ‘right on my doorstep’ and built up of so much history and beauty that it would be a shame not to see.
  2. Majority of America – I think this would mainly be due to the food options, but there are also a lot of places I’ve researched that I would visit as soon as I landed including the 9/11 Memorial.
  3. South Africa – Mainly for the wildlife, obviously I’d be very careful and do loads of research before I even considered booking my flights due to the crime level but it would be an amazing experience.
  4. Thailand – the beaches, the beauty, the atmosphere…just everything!
  5. China – I mean it would just be rude not to!

In my life I’d like to see as many places as I can cram in. I’ve mentioned before in a post…the world is here for us, it’s stupid not to explore and discover it ourselves. There’s so much more to life then doing the same job everyday with barely any rewards when we can live life the way we should, by experiencing it! As Louis Cole says “Live the adventure. Boom”.

Life or a dream?

Do you ever take a moment in the day and wonder…am I dreaming?

Maybe it’s due to dreaming about a real life situation the previous night. Or maybe its due to walking through life, like a mindless zombie…Not living life the way we should…With adventure and excitement.

We all have hopes and dreams of what we want for ourselves. What we want from life. As I’ve said before…this has never really been clear for me. I have options in mind, but no definite answer. All I know at the minute is that I don’t want to be here. I want to get out into the world and explore the land we’ve been given. There’s so much to see and do, and while I’m stuck here…well basically…I’m just stuck.

Alternatively it may be because sometimes I can control my dreams…Or maybe it’s because sometimes I have little control over my day…

Whatever the reason, it’s time to stop dreaming and start living. Live the adventure!…Just a thought.

Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning. – Albert Einstein.

Morning walk!

Being woken up by my mum on a Sunday morning at five to eight would normally get a bad response. Luckily this morning I was in a good mood! I had a good sleep, barely anything on my mind and good plans for the day. The walk lasted around about an hour, just enough time for the rain from the previous night that hung on the grass and sparkled in the sun to dry up.

Sometimes it’s the simple things in life that can make your day a bit brighter. Hope you all have a good morning, and if you do go for a walk…walk in quiet places!
